Almost all types of food and beverage products, pharmaceutical products, and daily chemical products can be inspected using an Online Metal Detector as long as they are not packaged in any metal material. Food, snacks, baked goods, protein and frozen foods, capsules/tablets bottles, bagged medicines, napkins, boxed products, etc. can all be inspected by metal detectors. This means that most industries can be inspected using standard metal detectors.

However, it is not recommended to use food-grade metal detectors to detect products that are packaged in foil, metal containers, or have metal inserts. These products interfere with the metal detector’s magnetic field like contaminants. This results in a high false rejection rate and significantly reduces the sensitivity to real foreign objects.
