The Bottle Production Line Checkweigher is an advanced automatic weighing system designed for high-precision net weight inspection of bottled products. Unlike conventional checkweighers that only measure the total weight of a filled bottle, this system uses two coordinated checkweighing units—Checkweigher A and Checkweigher B—to measure tare weight and gross weight separately.
Checkweigher A first measures the tare weight of each empty bottle and transmits the individual tare weight data to Checkweigher B in real time. After the bottle is filled with tablets, capsules, liquid, powder, granules, or other products, Checkweigher B measures the total weight of the filled bottle.
The control system automatically calculates:
Net Product Weight = Filled Bottle Gross Weight − Empty Bottle Tare Weight
The calculated net weight is then compared with preset upper and lower weight limits. Bottles with an acceptable net weight continue to the next packaging process, while underweight or overweight products are automatically detected and rejected.
By measuring the actual tare weight of each individual empty bottle, the system helps compensate for variations in bottle weight and provides more reliable net content inspection than gross-weight-only checking. This makes the tare and gross bottle checkweigher system suitable for automated bottling lines where precise filling verification and continuous quality control are required.
